“Having Kelli as our doula was one of the best decisions we made preparing for the birth of our first child.
Kelli was very helpful with questions throughout pregnancy, she helped not only me but my husband feel comfortable and ready as well.
On the day of our son's birth she helped bring a calming presence to the room, keeping me focused, confident and comfortable. I'm so grateful she was there supporting us, without her there coaching along the way I don't think I would have achieved the unmedicated birth that was part of our birth plan.
Kelli was also a helpful resource after birth as we learned breastfeeding and navigated some challenges with it. It was such a relief to have her support available as I adjusted to being a mom.
Overall we had a great experience working with Kelli. I'm so grateful for her support, guidance and encouragement throughout this journey. We would recommend Kelli to any expecting parents looking for a doula!”

“Kelli was awesome to work with. After my initial consult meeting with her, I knew I wanted her to help me navigate the rest of pregnancy and be at my birth. Anytime I had questions, I emailed Kelli and she got back to me with information with sources cited.
I did not have an easy pregnancy, from all day morning sickness well into the 2nd trimester, to pregnancy induced carpal tunnel and then gallbladder attacks that made it so I threw up everything and ended up in the hospital at 36 weeks. Kelli was supportive through all of that. She helped me develop my birth plan which took a huge load off my shoulders.
The day of Skylar's birth Kelli was there helping me breathe through the contractions, holding my hand while getting the epidural, holding my leg(s) while pushing, and so much more. Most of all Kelli was patient, calm, and encouraging the whole time. Ultimately, at one point, Kelli suggested pushing on my side, which helped bring baby down in the Birth Canal and prevented me from needing a C section. Having Kelli there was great as I knew I had someone there for me, advocating for me, and keeping my needs, wants, and birth plan a priority."

“Thank you for your dedication and calm presence for the labor and delivery of our 3rd child. I’m so glad we made the decision to ask you to be apart of it. You helped us both so much during a very anxious and painful time. You helped achieve my goals even when I didn’t think I could. I have no regrets and no trauma from this birth which is very healing and redeeming from the past births I’ve gone through."

“Kelli was fantastic throughout the entire labor process! It had gotten to the point where the doctors wanted me to be induced due to going past my due date and baby measuring large. While trying to work through the decision of being induced, Kelli provided me with information on both sides of the situation and supported whatever decision my husband and I chose. We moved forward with an induction and Kelli was there with us through the whole thing. She made sure that both me and my husband were doing alright and staying in the right head space. She was able to help guide decisions and reminded me of what I wanted my birth to look like going into it.
At one point I had mentally hit my wall and didn't think I could go any longer without an epidural. However, Kelli reminded me of what I wanted originally, she talked through what I would need to do in order to get an epidural, and showed me how strong I had been until then and could remain to be through the rest. I'm not sure I could have done it all unmedicated without her help in the entire process of deciding on the induction, going through the induction, and helping me push my baby into this world. I will definitely have Kelli there again if we get blessed to bring another baby into this world."

“Having been a good friend of mine for years, Kelli and I have discussed all things pregnancy, birth, and babies countless times. I knew that her knowledge, expertise, and calm demeanor made her the perfect fit to be my doula for the birth of my second child.
Kelli supported me in numerous ways throughout my pregnancy: supplying me with information as I made decisions about my birth preferences, talking through my hopes and dreams for this birth, providing me with many coping strategies and pain management techniques as I prepared for another unmedicated birth, answering my numerous “is this normal?” questions, and many more!
On the day I went into labor, Kelli supported me over the phone as she drove to my house, and then helped me through contractions as they quickly intensified. Once at the hospital, Kelli continued to provide counter pressure during each contraction, and brought a calm and encouraging presence in the delivery room. I was incredibly grateful to have Kelli there by my side during my quick delivery! This birth provided me with so many special memories, and Kelli played an integral part in making my dreams come true."

“This was my second baby, and I can't hug/Thank Kelli long enough for everything she helped me/us with. From the midnight phone call "Should I go to the hospital yet?", telling me to EAT!, telling stories to pass the time, helping me through different positions, to deciphering doctor language to us - She kept me calm the whole time!!
We had a long labor that ended in a C-section & Kelli was there in the hardest part for me when I thought I "failed". In those 26 hours, I knew I had a friend right next to me."
